Boomtown has posted some new screenshots from EA's upcoming shooter, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, and looking quite nice they are.

The game is now set for an October release.

[Update]: GameSpy (with ads galore!) has a preview online as well.

*Close Combat: First to Fight [9:16:07 EDT] by ~~ Rushian   Comments (1)
There's a new tactical shooter in the works from Close Combat developers Atomic Games and Destineer. Set in the mid-east in 2006 (and looking fairly similar to Conflict: Desert Storm II), the game will be a squad-based, first person shooter, just like we like 'em here at SpecForce.

Here's how Destineer describes the game:
Close Combat: First to Fight is an authentic, team-based first-person shooter created under the direction of active-duty United States Marines fresh from the front lines of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Set in a modern mid-eastern urban battleground, players lead a four-man Marine fireteam through the perils of modern urban combat. Together with the United States Marine Corps and Atomic Games, Destineer is creating First to Fight as a training simulation for use by the Marine Corps and will make it available to consumers in late 2004 for Xbox®, Macintosh®, and Windows®.
I've stumbled across some articles on the game from throughout the 'net.

First up, there's a preview up at GameSpy, along with a developer diary and some screenshots as well.

Next up, Fragland has posted a fairly critical, quickie preview.

The game is set to ship in Q4 2004.
